It is an attempt to inspire, to kick, to nudge, to push you onto the easier path. Too many people in small business hurting.  IT is NOT OK to keep doing the same things and continue hurting.  Especially not OK if it is simply a matter of making decision to slighlty adjust the heading..

Your restaurant management is planning the details of future business, marketing, advertising and manpower. To do so you will need the help from a successful and experienced person who can use the principals of the past in combination with the latest technology.  If not me… then someone.  There are great people avaialble to help you!

Growing sales and profits are not accidents. If you wait, your business drifts off as others take it from you.

If your business today is does not have any online presence, it is not too late. To take not action is almost on the edge of  …….. ridiculous.

Yes!  But now the internet is such a strong force, your customers using it so often, to not include a website, Facebook, LinkedIn, MySpace, Twitter is deliberate action to die.

 It is just too easy and too inexpensive to extend your business to the internet. (along with other technolgy)

Go to Alexa.com and download their toolbar. Every site you go to will show a ranking.

NEXT: Go to sites like MySpace, eBay, Amazon, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, Mapquest, Google Maps and Wikipedia. These all have very high Alexa rankings and there is no charge to join or participate! ... and there are more, more, more.

Your can have accounts and/or references to your business on every one the sites I listed for FREE. No charge. Zip. Zada. Does it take time?  Yes. Someone has to do it or you pay to have it .

Since you don't have the time, you will probably HIRE SOMEONE to get you onto the free sites and maintain them monthly. (and grow to other sites) And so.. there is a cost. But if you think about it, you then have FREE SIGNS alwasy posted in the virtual world and you can add to them every month!

AND if you have negative comments about your business on the search engines, you can do something about it! Put positive comments on the internet!

Next year, there will be more.  Guaranteed! Who is creating and managing your "signage" online? Have you interviewed anyone yet? Hired someone? Contracted with someone?

People "google" to verify, search and ask questions as a matter of habit now. High speed is common and wi-max will soon change how everyone lives even more.

I can show you at least 10 ways to have a presence online that does not cost you a cent. 

Will it take time? Sure... somone has to set it up. But the work you do does NOT disappear since the internet keeps everything. You are building something which can take a life of its own. (just as you plant your landscaping)

Does it require maintenance? Sure... If you want to maximize the tool and keep the internet or technology working for you.

If you do not add this aspect to your business today, your business will be taken away! Who will do this? Whoever is interested in offering new products and services and rely more on technology to reduce costs, improve speed and create consistency.

There is a wave.

No matter how hard you work;  

No matter how many hours you work; 

No matter how smart you used to be;

There is a new breed already passing you by.

In five years, there will be another wave and more decisions to be made.

Or you can wait patiently and take it step by step. Either way is good for me as long as you take some action.

To ignore it simply because a possible problem does not make a loud noise or bite you is just plain…

It matters little what at level you might be at. Starting out or breaking last year records.

Unless you include the five essentials to your business, the risk is high another will take what you have as the consumer trends to the latest and greatest.
